Who is responsible

UTrendCo Editors · Editorial team

We review portable power stations and home backup gear using published manufacturer specs, owner feedback, and real outage math. We compare capacity, output, and recharge times in plain English so you can size backup power for your home. We don't sell hardware; some links may earn us a commission.

What we compare

Every review starts from the published manufacturer data sheet: capacity in watt-hours, continuous output and surge output in watts, recharge time, and solar input. Owner feedback is a cross-check, not a replacement for the sheet. If a number is not on the sheet, we do not invent one.

How a page gets written

  1. We start from the current data sheet for the model.
  2. The page is drafted in plain English: watt-hours for how long it lasts, watts for what it can run.
  3. We link the source so you can verify. Specs change. The sheet wins.
  4. The byline date is when the page was last reviewed.
